Fixing Network Connections
Windows 7 has it's good and it's bad and one thing that is fustrating is when you are already on a network and Window then refuses to recognize it. For those user's with this constant network connection problems were drivers are no longer accessible, try this.

Fixed it. I fixed it by uninstalling the "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" on the network adaptor, reinstalling it and then restarting the computer. After the re-start things are now back to normal.
To uninstall the "File and Printer sharing for microsoft networks" in windows 7/Server 2008:
- Go to Network and Sharing Center from the control panel.
- Click change adaptor settings on the left hand side.
- Right click the network adaptor (if you have more than one you may need to do this on all of them).
- Select "Properties" from the list.
- In the "This connection uses the following items:" select "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks".
- Click the "Uninstall" button.
- Click "Yes" when the conformation box appears and wait for it to uninstall ("File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" will disappear from the "This connection uses the following items:" box once uninstalled).
- Click the "Install" button.
- Select "Service" from the "Click the type of network feature you want to install:" box.
- Select "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" from the "Network Service" box.
- Click "OK" and it should install in less than a few seconds ("File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" will reappear in the "This connection uses the following items:" box once installed).
- Restart the computer and the problem should be fixed.

The Fake Tech Support Scan is on high alert lately. Not only are they conning the elderly but anyone who they can convince them to buy into their scam.
The scam starts pretty simple with someone calling you for support claiming to be Microsoft employees. In situations where things don't make sense your best option is to do nothing and get a return number or tell them to send you the information by mail. If they are a legit company they will be able to mail you something or you can easily reach them. Anything else would be questionable. But buyer beware because it's guys like these that are giving real computer technician's a bad name.

The scam starts pretty simple with someone calling you for support claiming to be Microsoft employees. In situations where things don't make sense your best option is to do nothing and get a return number or tell them to send you the information by mail. If they are a legit company they will be able to mail you something or you can easily reach them. Anything else would be questionable. Outlook Web New Interface
Outlook web just recently got a make over and I hope that this is the beginning of more to come. The software is clear straight forward that's a little buggy. But if you can bear with Windows Updates then you can bear with Outlook web updates as well. Besides that it's a straight forward user friendly design that it simple to use and operate. Check it out and give it a try.
