Vulnerabilty Answers

Computers have vulnerability issues and there always is a question on what is it. We can write pages on vulnerabilities and the best answer to it is by saying that it's a software that wasn't finalized when it was produced. Because many software developers have a time frame in mind on getting their software out to the market. Developers don't sit down carefully and review their programming codes. This is why there software's have security flaws and vulnerability always exist in programming. The chances that you'll never find a flaw in a software is slim and for some companies it's just a matter of doing business. So make the best out of any software because there will always be vulnerabilities.

More Remote Alternatives

Remote support has changed in the last few years and if your still in the market for a reliable service, your best bet is to try out several products before you go ahead and pay for the service. Be ready to jump ship just in case things don't work out. It's my experience that you will hardly see anything go bad until you sign-up for the service and are a premium customer.

Sharepoint Mapping in Windows

I was surprise today to see an interesting video on mapping Sharepoint to Windows and I am glad someone beat Microsoft to the test. This just shows you how little by little this giant company keeps on neglecting it's paid subscribers to the things that it's capable of doing. If they would only get their act together. Here it goes.

GFI Cloud Reviews

A few months ago I reviewed GFI Cloud after having a bad time with GFI Max and was shocked that the same company made major improvements to it's services it currently offers. I can see this service as a keeper but with the need of more products and services. It's still missing cloud services and the extras. But remote support installation and connection was immediate compared to it's other slow parent which is GFI Max.
I was able in no time to setup computer configuration, have antivirus installed and be able to patch computers with or without user interruption. I am a little skeptical on it's new antivirus software feature that insists you uninstall antivirus and re-install the antivirus before it can monitor your antivirus software. I hope that they do come up with a fix and eliminate the re-installation process.
GFI Cloud has a great web monitoring feature that helps you curve and control bad employee web access.
The only downfall of this software is that your minimum purchase per product per license is per 10 users. I hoped that in the future they turn this to a la carte.
